These guidelines apply to all content, interactions, and behavior on our platform — including profiles, messages, video chats, and any communication through Talk Today.

What We Prohibit

The following behaviors are strictly forbidden on Talk Today and may result in account suspension or permanent ban:

• Harassment and bullying: Any form of intimidation, stalking, targeted harassment, or encouragement of self-harm.
• Hate speech: Content that attacks, threatens, or demeans others based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any protected characteristic.
• Sexual exploitation: Soliciting sexual services, sharing explicit sexual content without consent, or sexualizing minors.
• Illegal activities: Promoting, coordinating, or engaging in illegal acts including fraud, drug distribution, or theft.

• Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else, including celebrities, other users, or Talk Today staff.
• Spam and advertising: Sending unsolicited commercial messages, promoting external businesses, or mass-messaging promotional content.
• Sharing private information: Posting or requesting personal information (doxxing) like addresses, phone numbers, or private conversations without consent.
• Underage use: Anyone under 18 is prohibited from using the platform. If you suspect someone is underage, report them.
• Self-promotion abuse: Repeatedly sharing links to external websites, social media, or payment services outside of your profile where allowed.

Content Standards

To keep our community welcoming, please adhere to these content standards:

• No explicit adult content: While we support adult expression, sexually explicit material is not allowed in profiles, photos, or public spaces.
• No graphic violence: Sharing violent, gory, or disturbing images or descriptions is prohibited.
• No fake engagement: Don't use bots, automated scripts, or fake accounts to inflate interactions.
• No bait-and-switch: Your profile should accurately represent you. Using drastically misleading photos or false information is not allowed.
• Respect intellectual property: Only share content you own or have permission to use. Don't post copyrighted material without authorization.

Communication Etiquette

How you communicate matters. Please:

Profile Standards

Your profile is your representation on Talk Today. To ensure trust and safety:

• Use your real photo: No heavily filtered, cartoon, or celebrity images. Your profile photo should clearly show your face.
• Be truthful: Accurate age, location, and intentions. Misleading information can lead to account removal.
• No offensive content: Avoid hate symbols, slurs, or inflammatory imagery in your profile.
• Keep it clean: No nudity, sexual poses, or explicit language in your bio or photos.
• One account per person: Multiple accounts are not permitted without explicit permission.

Consequences for Violations

When a user violates these guidelines, we may take action depending on the severity and frequency of the violation. Actions include:

• Warning: For minor or first-time offenses, we may issue a warning and request changes.
• Temporary suspension: Moderate violations may result in temporary account deactivation.
• Permanent ban: Severe or repeated violations will lead to immediate and permanent removal from the platform.
• Legal reporting: In cases of illegal activity, we will report to law enforcement authorities.

You may appeal a moderation decision by contacting our support team. We will review your case and respond promptly.

Reporting and Safety Tools

Your safety is our priority. We provide tools to help you control your experience:

• Block user: Instantly prevent someone from contacting you. They won't be notified.
• Report profile/message: Use the report button to flag guideline violations. Include details to help our team investigate.
• Privacy settings: Control who can see your profile, contact you, and view your online status.
• Hide/restrict: You can hide your profile from specific users without blocking them completely.

Staying Safe Online

While we enforce these guidelines, your own judgment is your best defense. Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, it probably is. Don't ignore red flags because someone seems nice initially. You are in control of your experience — set boundaries, use our tools, and reach out for help when needed.
